NCP cancels farmers rally on May 16 in Delhi

The Nationalist Congress Party has cancelled the May 16 farmers' rally at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, Maharashtra state NCP president Madhukar Pichad said on Thursday. Pichad said the decision was taken following meeting between the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and party president and agriculture minister Sharad Pawar.
