A non-bailable warrant has been issued against Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt for allegedly threatening filmmaker Shakil Noorani on Saturday, news agency ANI reported.

Dutt apparently did not appear before the court in a cheque-bounce case, a report published in DNA said.

In April 2002, Noorani alleged that Dutt had promised a film with him but at the last minute cancelled doing it. He further claimed that he received death threats from underworld goons on behalf of the actor.

Now, Noorani wants Dutt to repay him Rs 50 lakh signing amount and Rs 2 crore for the loss.

Dutt has already skipped two court cases related to the matter and has filed a review petition against the Supreme Court's decision.
