Political parties are divided over voting on FDI even after the all-party meet held by the government today.

BJP, JD-U, Left parties are insisting on discussion on FDI in retail under a rule that entails voting. No compromise on (discussion under Rule) 184 which entails voting, says Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj.

Samajwadi Party is ready for discussion on FDI in retail under any rule, it is for Speaker to decide, say SP sources.

We should leave it to the Chair in both Houses to decide under which rule discussion on FDI should be held, says BSP chief Mayawati.

Trinamool Congress at all-party meeting says Speaker should decide "how the House should run".

DMK conveys concern over FDI but remains vague on debate with voting while AIADMK wants voting after discussion.

Majority is for discussion on FDI issue without voting, says Union Minister Anand Sharma.

UPA is to meet on FDI issue in Parliament tomorrow.
