Union Minister for Power Piyush Goyal met bankers on Monday to resolve the conflicts between power sector borrowers and banks.
Earlier, Goyal had held a meeting with the Association of Power Producers. The meeting was held in lieu of the ongoing power and water crisis in New Delhi.
Adani Group founder Gautam Adani, former Member of Parliament (MP) and Jindal Steel and Power chairman, Naveen Jindal and Reliance Group Chairman Anil Ambani were present at the meeting, which was held on Friday.
The capital has been witnessing acute power shortages this summer and the Congress has taken to the streets to protest inadequate supply of water and electricity.
