State Bank of India has launched an initiative called SBI Property Mall for popularising sale of industrial, commercial and residential properties by eauction. The first such mall in the country was inaugurated at Ludhiana by Parveen Kumar Malhotra, deputy managing director and group executive, Stressed Assets Management. The mall would display the details of e-auctions to be conducted along with photographs of the properties being sold.

For wide publicity to the investors in general. It is expected through this initiative sale of properties, taken possession by the Bank, will get a fillip.
