Sonia for higher old age pension

Congress party president and National Advisory Council head, Sonia Gandhi, has assured activists led by Aruna Roy and Baba Adhav of a national pension scheme for the elderly and enhancement of the present amount of Rs 200 per month paid for some in this regard by the central government. In a separate development, she rapped party members and ministers for not being present at Parliament proceedings.
