Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Abu Azmi on Wednesday questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi's silence over the Dadri incident, saying that even politicians under his nose are involved in fomenting unrest and creating communal tension in the country.

"Our Prime Minister, while travelling across the world raised his slogan of 'Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas'. He (PM Modi) said that there is no place of communalism in the country and now such appalling incident is coming into light in Dadri, where a man was brutally lynched just based on the rumors that he had eaten and stored beef in his house. Why is PM Modi silent when leaders are involved in fomenting unrest and creating communal tension in the country," Azmi told ANI here.

"Giriraj Singh said that no Muslims will be visible by 2021. BJP MP Yogi Adityanath openly asked to raise the slogan of 'Har Har Mahadev instead of 'Allah oh Akbar' in Mosques," Azmi added.
