A suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) operative has been arrested in Haryana, police said Friday.

Mohammad Shahid, 32, a resident of 'Choti Mewli' in district Nuh of the Mewat region in Haryana was arrested from his house Dec 10.

He was arrested for his alleged links with the terrorist organisation LeT.

"He was regularly talking to Javed Baluchi, another LeT commander who is based in Pakistan. We have recorded some conversations between the two," a police official told IANS.

"He is in police custody till Dec 21," he said.
