Scores of UPSC aspirants today staged a protest in north Delhi's Civil Lines area demanding scrapping of Civil Services Aptitude Test, following which four metro stations have been closed, police said.

Anticipating the protesters to reach Rajghat and Prime Minister's residence on Race Course Road, the police advised Delhi Metro Rail Corporation to prohibit entry and exit from four metro stations-Patel Chowk, Central Secretariat, Race Course and Udhyog Bhavan-from 11:15 am till further notice, a DMRC spokesperson said.

The agitators were planning to take their protest march to Rajghat and then toward Race Course Road, police said.

UPSC aspirants had staged a protest last week outside the residence of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh demanding a four-year age relaxation for appearing in the examinations of these services.
