Want a good bargain on your ticket bookings but don’t know when to book? Skyscanner, a travel search engine has published a report on when Indian travellers could get a good deal on booking air tickets to specific destinations. The firm has analysed data for the past three years to find out best time to book a ticket for 10 most popular destinations for Indians. On average, it appears, one could get a lucrative deal while booking approximately 18 weeks in advance.
February, according to Skyscanner, is the cheapest month to travel, while the first week of December is the costliest, and August is the busiest. The time varies with destination — if for the US October is the best time, for France it is November.
