Hyderabad will play host to the first-ever ‘Auto Show South 2010’. Being organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), in association with the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) and the transport department of Andhra Pradesh, the three-day auto show will be inaugurated by chief minister K Rosaiah on Friday.
Auto majors including Toyota, TVS, General Motors, Honda Motorcycles & Scooters, Tata Motors, Honda Cars, Mahindra, Skoda, Fiat and Yamaha, will display their new offerings.
“South India being the largest market with substantial high-networth individual customers and an expanding auto market, it was important to have an auto show in Hyderabad," Sudhir Mehta, chairman of SIAM, said.
