Industries in Uttar Pradesh will get a push under the Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh. To attract investment and give a thrust to industrial development the Yogi Adityanath led Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) government in UP will soon come out with a new industrial policy.

The Industrial Development minister in Yogi cabinet, Satish Mahana told Business Standard that the new industrial policy of UP will be named 'Udyog Nivesh Niti (Industrial Investment Policy)'. He said that the new policy will focus on setting up new industries as well as attracting more investment. The policy will be formulated after having proper consultation with all the stake holders including entrepreneurs and industrial bodies. The new policy will offer more sops and rebates to small as as well big industries coming up in UP said Mahana.

According to Mahana a new Industrial Development Board will be formed to solve entrepreneurs' problems and facilitate them. This board will look after various problems of industries as well as allotment of industrial plots in the townships.

The Yogi government has also made elaborate plans to implement single window system for industrie in the state. Mahana said that on papers the previous government had implemented single window clearance system for entrepreneurs but it was still a difficult task to set up a new industry in the state. 'The entrepreneurs had to take clearance and no objection certificates from as many as 29 departments to set up an industry in UP. We will remove this hurdle and implement single window system in truesense', he said.
