The Bansi Lal ministry in Haryana was yesterday expanded with the induction of seven more ministers and elevation of one to the cabinet rank, raising the strength of the council of ministers to 33.
Governor Mahabir Prasad administered the oath of office and secrecy to the eight, including two of the cabinet rank at a function in Raj Bhawan.
Ramesh Chander Kaushik, who was earlier minister of state, has been elevated to cabinet rank while Jaswant Singh Narnol makes a come-back as cabinet minister.

Bhim Singh Mehta, who was listed to take oath as minister of state, was not present. The six ministers of states sworn in are Harsh Kumar, Ram Bhajan Agarwal, Jagdish Singh Malik, Kanta Devi, Rajkumar Saini and Satnarayan Lathar.
The 16 month-old Bansi Lal ministry now has 20 cabinet rank ministers, including the Chief Minister, and 13 ministers of state.
