Centre to set up task force for formulating fertiliser policy

The Centre will set up a task force in a couple of weeks for formulating a fertiliser policy, according to Union minister for chemicals and fertilisers, Ananth Kumar.

The minister, however, did not mention any time frame for the task force to come out with the proposed policy framework.

Inaugurating Iplex 14, an international plastics exposition, here on Friday, he also said establishment of a plastic park in Telangana would be considered.

Stating that the Narendra Modi government wanted states to be stronger, he said the Union government would support the development of the newly-formed state of Telangnana.
