The nine-day monsoon session of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly will begin on July 26.

Governor Shekhar Dutt has issued the notification for conducting the monsoon session of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly from July 26 to August 4. During the session, there would be seven sittings of the House. Officials in the state's finance department said that the government would present its first supplementary demands for grants for the current fiscal during the monsoon session.

The departments have been asked to submit their demands to the finance department by July 12, the officials added. The escalating Naxal violence in the state is expected to make the monsoon session stormy.
