Cold wave gripped entire Vidarbha region of Maharashtra with temperatures dropping to 7.5 degrees in some parts.
Nagpur recorded a minimum temperature of 7.8 degree celsius yesterday and the local office of India Meteorological Department, has predicted that the cold wave conditions may continue for next two days due to heavy snowfall across north India and easy movement of northerly winds in central India.
Akola recorded a lowest of 7.5 degree celsius temperature in the Vidarbha region of the state. Other districts in the region also registered a dip in mercury leading to a rise in cold.
