'Develop domestic market for spices'

With growing domestic demand for spices, it is important to develop this 'discreet and all pervasive' market first, Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said recently.

"We need to have our exports no doubt, but within India the market is growing and I think we need to capture that market first," she said while speaking at a function organised by Spices Board after launching the composite Promotion for Spices here.
