Congress General Secretary Digvijaya Singh appears to be in no mood to spare Anna Hazare. Continuing with his barbs, Singh on Sunday accused the latter of being “ungrateful” to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh over the outfit’s alleged support to his agitation. Singh wrote on the microblogging site Twitter, “Baba Ramdev is being more honest about the support of RSS to his campaign. Haven't understood why Anna is denying. Ungrateful ?” This latest attack is being seen as an attempt by Singh to drive a wedge between the civil society group and its sympathizers.
Singh’s direct accusation is also being viewed as a provocation for Anna, who has been on a long ‘maun vrat’, to respond. Yesterday, the AICC general secretary had attacked spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar for releasing a book written by BJP President Nitin Gadkari. Before that, he had said that BJP support’s to Kejriwal in latter’s spat with Swami Agnivesh proved the BJP and RSS were supporting him.
