Calling Tamil Nadu a “challenging case”, Chief Election Commissioner S Y Quraishi today said that through a series of steps that were “unprecedented even by our own standards”, officials had seized unauthorised cash of over Rs 53 crore, out of which Rs 42 crore was from Tamil Nadu alone.
