The Employees Provident Fund Organisation, Bangalore Region, has launched a special drive to facilitate withdrawals of Provident Fund deposits of those subscribers who have not claimed for settlement/transfer of their Provident Fund amount for over three years which have since been lying in-operative.
Those employees who have left their amount ‘unclaimed’ for over three years could apply for withdrawal of their Provident Fund accounts through their respective ex-employers or apply for transfer of Provident Fund to their present account, an official press release said.
Further, employers were urged to locate the address of employees who have left their organisation and had not claimed their Provident Fund amount so far and advise them to submit the claims immediately.
