Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper will meet his Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh on the sidelines of next week's G-20 summit, officials said here today.
Harper will welcome Singh for a bilateral visit on June 27, immediately after the G-20 Summit, Prime Minister's office said in a statement.
"Canada and India are developing the tremendous potential of our relationship by rapidly expanding commercial, cultural and educational ties," Harper said.
"I look forward to working with Prime Minister Singh to further capitalise on our shared strengths."
During their meeting, Prime Minister Harper and Singh will discuss regional and global issues of shared interests.
Prime Minister Singh's visit builds on the successful visit by Premier Harper to India in November last year.
