Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has urged Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL) Chairman and Managing Director S K Jain for fast-tracking of pre-project activities and completing the 4x700 Mw Haryana Nuclear Power Project in a shorter time frame.
The CM was presiding over a meeting with senior officers of NPCIL and the department of atomic energy in New Delhi on Friday who called on him after visiting the site of the project and having detailed discussion on various issues concerning the project with senior officers of the state goverment. Hooda expressed the commitment of Haryana Government to complete all the pre-project activities required for the nuclear power project expeditiously. He said that as Haryana would be providing land and water for this power project, the state would plead for 100 per cent share of power generation,
