Refuting all charges of corruption and mismanagement in Commonwealth Games, Organising Committee’s embattled Chairman Suresh Kalmadi today said that he is ready for any enquiry in this regard. In a press conference held in Pune, Kalmadi cleared his stand on CWG planning, preparations and latest developments.

Kalmadi said, “I am ready for any enquiry. There is no corruption or mismanagement in the preparation at all. The concerned authorities are satisfied with the preparation. The sports infrastructure is world class.”

Talking about the expenses, he added, “I am responsible only for Rs 1,600 crore which is the budget for sports infrastructure of CWG.”
