Qatar and India are set to conclude a contract to run feasibility studies for 30 industrial projects scheduled to be implemented in Qatar.
Ministry of Energy's Industrial Development Department and Industry Director Saeed Mubarak Al Kuwary and Small Scale Industries Corporation of India's (SSICI) Senior Official Revendra Math will sign the contract tomorrow, Qatar's daily 'The Peninsula' has reported.
According to the report, feasibility studies of the 30 projects are expected to be completed by first quarter of 2011. The Ministry of Energy and Industry will introduce the 30 projects to investors in many symposiums to be held in this regard.
The Industrial Development Department plans to invest in $2 million small enterprises to provide more investment opportunities to boost private sector contribution in industrial development.
The SSICI will play a role in the projects studying and implementation.
