Irda Mulls New Forum For Dispute Resolution

The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) is toying with the idea of setting up a new forum for dispute resolution in addition to the existing set-up of ombudsmen.

Speaking at the annual day function of the office of the insurance ombudsman for Delhi and Rajasthan, IRDA chairman N Rangachary said there was a need to settle the claims faster.
