The government is likely to offer concessions to the Bharti Group on the JT Mobile dues issue by allowing the company to offer a counter guarantee for the interest component in the Rs 515-crore dues.

The move will pave the way for Bharti to get new licences for cellular and basic services which are being held up as the company had failed to get a no-dues certificate from the government.
