Maha govt launches dedicated website for labour workforce

The Maharashtra government has launched a dedicated website to adresss the grievances and pending issues of the labour work force across the state. The website would cater to the workers to put forth their grievances before the concerned officials in the department, which would be eventually addressed, said Labour minister Hasan Mushrif, launching the website.

"Workers can file an online complaint by going through 'Complaint Window' in the website. "Laws in the labour department, circulars, government resolutions and various other aspects have also been incorporated in the website," he said. The website called www.Mahashramm.Gov.In would facilitate good working environment for the employers as well as the employees," he believed.

"By filing an online registration form the workers can enroll himself with the labour department," he said. Dr Kavita Gupta, Principal Secretary said, "The website would be a single window system to all for airing the inconveniences through this interface." Information on how many industries have shut and all the pending issues of the labour would also be incorporated into the website, she said.
