Around 25 self-help groups in the Indore, Ujjain, Dewas and Dhar districts of Madhya Pradesh will hawk products of FMCG companies under Project Shakti from April 23.

These groups will be trained in commercial activities. However, it is not compulsory for them to sell products of only one industrial group. Under Project Shakti, cottage units run by local self-help groups will try to replicate the model of rural marketing developed by Hindustan Lever.
