There were scenes of jubilation at the offices of NDA allies, JD(U) and BJP, at Veer Chand Path today, as workers celebrated the ruling coalition's electoral victory in the Bihar Assembly polls.

JD(U) workers distributed sweets and smeared vermilion on each other's faces and broke into impromptu dancing to the beat of drums after a clear trend emerged that the NDA was headed for a landslide victory.

JD(U) workers shouted 'Nitish Kumar zindabad' and 'NDA zindabad' as the cameras of news channels telecast the celebrations live.

There was a similar scene at the nearby office of the JD(U)'s coalition partner, BJP.

The celebrations at the NDA offices located within a distance of 100 meter from each other threw traffic out of gear.
