Pachauri to skip IPCC meet
Rajendra K Pachauri has informed the IPCC that he will be unable to chair the plenary session of the IPCC in Nairobi next week because of issues demanding his attention in India
BS Reporter Chairman of Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and director general of The Energy and Resources Institute (Teri), R K Pachauri, who is accused of sexually harassing a 29-year-old woman research analyst at Teri, will skip an IPCC meet in Nairobi next week.
"Rajendra K Pachauri has informed the IPCC that he will be unable to chair the plenary session of the IPCC in Nairobi next week because of issues demanding his attention in India", a statement issued by his office said on Saturday. "He is committed to provide all assistance and cooperation to the authorities in their ongoing investigations," the statement added.
