In a partial rollback of its decision on duty drawback, the finance ministry today modestly hiked the drawback rates and the cap on 22 readymade garments items, 14 leather items and four handicraft items with retrospective effect from June 7.
Addressing reporters here today, Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) chairman Sukumar Shankar said:
