As the leisure marine industry looks to leave behind the slump, Thai, Malaysian and Indonesian vessels are sharing waters with top international brands in yachting and boating such as Heesen Yachts, Burgess and Curvelle to presenting their vessels on the show. The Yacht Show itself is expected to generate an estimated $20 million in direct benefit to businesses through tourism, hospitality and yacht-related spend. The event touted as Asia's largest yachting, boating and luxury lifestyle event, was officially opened by Singapore second minister for trade, commerce and industry S Iswaran this afternoon at ONE°15 Marina Club.
