Thriveni wins appreciation plaque for CSR

Thriveni Earth Movers Pvt Ltd (TEMPL), a mine raising contractor active in the Joda mining belt in Odisha, has been felicitated with an ‘appreciation plaque’ for commendable work and exemplary innovation in CSR (corporate social responsibility) at the Business World-Ficci CSR Award 2011-12. The plaque was presented by Sachin Pilot, Union minister for corporate affairs to Vikram Mehta, general manager-CSR and Sangram Mahapatra, senior general manager-ISD of the company, at a function held in Delhi on December 7, 2012. B. Prabhakaran, managing director, TEMPL said, “The best way to promote inclusive growth is to empower the youth by imparting them with appropriate skills so that they can find gainful employment and build their careers. TEMPL is committed to inclusive growth and a key strategy in this is to enhance employability of the youth by providing training on vocational skills.”
