Colleges Reopen Admissions
The SGTB Khalsa College has brought down its cut-offs for more admissions. Earlier the college had announced its cut-offs above 95% for most of its academic courses. It is to be noted that the cut-off for B.SC (Hons) Electronics which stood at 99.66% has been brought down to 93.66%. Similarly, cut-offs for B.A. (Hons.) Psychology and B.A. (Hons.) Journalism which stood at 98.25% and 97.75%, respectively, are now at 98% and 97.5%. Admissions to B.A. (Hons.) Economics at 97.5% after closing admissions in the second list are now open again.
The Delhi University’s Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB) on Thursday announced its second cut-off list, with the highest being 88% for B.Com at Miranda House. The NCWEB offers B.Com and B.A. It announced its first cut-off lists on July 1 (Saturday). The highest cutoff stood at 90% for B.Com at Hansraj and Miranda House. The Official Notification from the university authority mentioned that admissions will be done on July 7, 8 and 10, between 9.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m., at its respective teaching centers. Daulat Ram College has also reopened admissions to political science; Kamala Nehru and Kirori Mal have started accepting applications for Commerce & History and for English, respectively.
Fourth and Fifth Cutoff Lists
July 10 (Monday) is the last date for the closure of the admissions to all the academic courses under the third cut-off list. Those seeking to change their colleges are required to cancel their previous admission else they will have to stick to the previous admission only. Colleges will be accepting admission fees till 12 pm on July 11 (Tuesday). Seats won’t be confirmed unless the payment is received. If after the third lists there are still seats available, the colleges will release the fourth cut-off lists on July 13 (Thursday) and fifth on July 18 (Tuesday).
