Call Letters or Admit Cards for the IBPS PO 2017 Exam are now available for download as it was released at ibps.in by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) on Thursday, September 21, for the candidates who re-registered for the same in August. The Institute chooses the candidates on the basis of their performance in computer-based preliminary and main exam and interview. The Preliminary examination for the Probationary Officer recruitment is scheduled to take place on 7th, 8th, 14th and 15th of October this year. Sources that only nine out of 20 participating organizations (banks) will engage in recruitment of the qualified candidates this year. These are: Allahabad Bank, Andhra Bank, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Corporation Bank, UCO Bank and Union Bank of India. Canara Bank aims to fill 1,350 vacancies, Andhra Bank has 625 vacancies and UCO Bank is to recruit 500-plus candidates this year.

How to download Call Letters: Candidates are required to visit the official website of IBPS or can visit this direct link here. Search for the required link and on the new page; enter your Registration number or Roll number followed by password or date of birth. Hit the Submit button. Print the Letter out for future references.

Prelims, Mains and Interview:
Candidates who will qualify in Preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Main examination and shortlisted candidates in the Main examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and co-ordinated by the Nodal Bank. Depending on the final vacancies to be filled in during the financial year 2018-19 based on the business needs of the Participating Organisations and as reported to IBPS, candidates shortlisted will be provisionally allotted to one of the Participating Organisations keeping in view the spirit of Govt. Guidelines on reservation policy, administrative convenience, etc.

Allotment of Candidates:
On completion of the interview process, depending on the vacancies to be filled in during the financial year 2018- 19 based on the business needs of the Participating Organisations and as reported to IBPS, candidates shortlisted will be provisionally allotted to one of the Participating Organisations, based on merit-cum-preference keeping in view the spirit of Govt. Keep in mind that a reserve list to the extent of approximately 10 percent of the vacancies under each category may be kept, subject to the availability of candidates. This does not guarantee provisional allotment to/recruitment by the Participating Organisation(s). In the event of Participating Organisations providing further vacancies during April 2018-March 2019, provisional allotment will be carried out for the candidates from the reserve list. However, if no vacancy is furnished by the Participating Organisations owing to exigencies or otherwise during the validity period, the candidates under the reserve list will not be considered for provisional allotment. The reserve list will expire automatically on 31.03.2019 without any notice. Candidates who are not provisionally allotted or not in the reserve list will not be considered for any further process under CWE PO/MT-VII for vacancies for 2018-19. (Source: IBPS)
