IBPS RRB 2017: Officer Assistant Prelim Results Declared. Steps To Check

The candidates who have qualified in the prelims will now be taking the Main exam on 12th November, 2017 (Sunday).

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) released the results of IBPS RRB Office Assistant Prelims 2017. The IBPS is set to conduct the RRB recruitment exam online for which it made an important announcement for a total of 5,236 vacancies to be filled by the common recruitment process. The online prelims examination for officer assistant was held on September 9 (Saturday), September 10 (Sunday) and September 16 (Saturday). The candidates who have qualified in the prelims will now be taking the Main exam on 12th November, 2017 (Sunday). About 56 RRBs in the country offer various posts for Group ‘A’ Officers & Group ‘B’ Office Assistants. The candidates who apply for the selection will have to go through the rules and regulations put forth by the IBPS.

  • On the new page provide your Registration No or Roll No, Password or DOB (DD-MM-YY) followed by captcha code given there.
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) had released the Admit Cards (Call Letters) of office assistant preliminary examination 2017 for recruitment in participating regional rural banks (RRBs) on the official website (ibps.in). The IBPS had announced the 2017 RRB exam notification for common recruitment process this year. The Regional Rural Banks (RRB) are banking organizations that work at local or regional levels directed by Government of India in different states of India. The RRBs aim to serve the rural communities with basic banking and financial services.

Cut-off Score In Main Exam: Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Main examination to be considered to be shortlisted for provisional allotment. Keep in mind that for the post of office assistant (multipurpose) – marks obtained only in the main examination will be considered for final merit listing. Depending on the number of vacancies available in each state, candidates will be shortlisted for provisional allotment.

Selection and Interview: For the post of Office Assistant, candidates who will qualify in preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Main examination and short-listed candidates in the main examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with appropriate authority.

Provisional Allotment: For Office Assistant (Multipurpose), the final allotment will be done on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the Online main examination and the vacancies reported by the RRBs. Depending on the vacancies as per the business needs of the Regional Rural Banks and as reported to IBPS, candidates shortlisted will be provisionally allotted to one of the Regional Rural Banks keeping in view the merit cum preference (state wise for Officers in Scale I and Office Assistants, on reservation policy, administrative convenience and the like.
