Maharashtra SSC results 2017
Out of the 16,50,499 students (fresh candidates) who registered for the Maharashtra 2017 SSC exams, 16,44,016 students appeared for the exams, and 14,58,855 students have passed. With pass percentage at 91.46 per cent, girls scored better than boys who secured 86.51 per cent.
Konkan region delivered the best result once again with an overall pass per cent of 96.18 percent, followed by Kolhapur at 93.59 per cent and Pune at 91.95. Mumbai region stood fourth with 90.09 per cent. A total of 48,470 students have score more than 90 per cent in their Maharashtra SSC 2017 exams

Students can check their results on the official website mahresult.nic.in. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to check the results:
1. Log on to http://mahresult.nic.in
2. Click on the SSC Examination Result March 2017 notification under Latest Announcement column
3. Enter the roll number (hall ticket number) mentioned on the admit card and mother’s first name (password)
4. Click on View Results tab
5. Download and save the result
6. Take a printout for future reference
Maharashtra SSC exams 2017
The exams were held from March 7, 2017 to March 29, 2017. Around 17, 66,098 students appeared for Maharashtra SSC class 10 exams, of which 9,89,908 were boys and 7,76,190 were girls. There were 4,728 centres for the examination across the country last year. A student has to score minimum 35 marks in a paper to clear all the papers.
The exams were conducted within the state through nine divisional boards at Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad, Latur, Nagpur, Nashik, Konkan, Kolhapur and Amaravati.
Last year, the Maharashtra Board SSC result 2016 was declared on June 6, 2016. The pass percentage was around 91.9 per cent in Mumbai with girls faring better than boys. The Maharashtra HSC Result March 2017 for Class 12 was declared on May 30 at 1:00 PM.
