Syndicate Bank PO recruitment 2017 entrance test results announced

The bank has shortlisted 1,600 candidates for further rounds of selections

The Syndicate Bank announced the results for the entrance test conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), Mumbai, on February 26, 2017, to shortlist candidates for probationary officers (PO) posts. The bank, on March 30, 2017, listed the names of the candidates shortlisted for interview and group discussion (GD) based on the online test conducted. The bank has shortlisted 1,600 candidates.

According to an official notification, the bank will appoint candidates as PO in their branches on successful completion of one-year post graduation diploma in banking and finance (PGDBF) course offered through Manipal Global Education Services Pvt Ltd (MaGE), Bangalore and Nitte Education International Pvt Ltd (NEIPL).
  
A total of 400 seats were created for this selection process 2017-18, comprising two batches.

The bank will not reveal any information about individual marks of successful candidates. They can check their results by: 

1. Visit the official website www.syndicatebank.in
2. Click on the careers tab at the bottom of the page 
3. In the column for REC/38471/2016, PGDBF programme 2017-18, candidates have to click the annexure link 
4. Check the list of the names of the candidates shortlisted for interview and / or GD 
5. Download and save for future reference 

Candidates who have been disqualified can see their individual marks or cutoff scores by:

1. Visit the official website www.syndicatebank.in
2. Click on the careers tab at the bottom of the page 
3. In the column for REC/38471/2016, PGDBF programme 2017-18, click on the link 'click here to know online test marks for unsuccessful candidates and cut off marks'
4. Click on the registration or roll number, date of birth and the captcha code
5. Download the result and save for future reference 

GD and Interviews
 
The interview and GD is tentatively scheduled for the third week of April 2017. The exact date will be announced in the bank’s website and individual call letters of shortlisted candidates containing the details of venue, date and time will be made available for download on the bank’s website. No correspondence or telephonic queries in this regard will be entertained

At the time of interview, the candidates are required to bring all the certificates/documents in original along with one set of photocopy of each document: 
 
1. Educational qualification (Graduation degree/ Mark sheet & other educational certificates)
2. Date of birth/ ID proofs
3. Caste/ category certificate as per central government format (SC/ ST/ OBC/PWD)
4. Experience certificates (if any)
5. No objection certificate (for those working in govt offices/ banks/ dept/ public sector companies etc.)

Those who attend the interview/ GD without the necessary certificates will not be allowed for further selection procedure.

The graduation percentage and class will be calculated as per the University norms for calculation of percentage and declaration of class/results. The graduation percentage/class as appearing in the final year/semester/ consolidated mark-sheet and provisional/degree certificate will be taken into consideration for eligibility. In case the graduation percentage/class is not clearly mentioned in the mark-sheet/certificate, the candidate has to produce a certificate issued by the appropriate authority of University/Institute indicating graduation percentage/ class as per the University norms for awarding degree.

Where CGPA / OGPA is awarded, the candidate will have to produce a certificate issued by the appropriate authority inter alia stating the norms of the University regarding conversion of grade into percentage and the percentage of marks scored by the candidate in terms of norms.
