The Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical (KEAM) Entrance exam 2017, which was held on April 24 and 25, witnessed a total of 90,806 students appearing for the same. The number includes 72,440 as qualified. The rank list included 61, 716 students out of which 32, 036 were boys and 29, 680 girls. The first 5000 ranks of the engineering list included 2535 from the State higher secondary stream, 2280 from the CBSE, 140 from the ICSE and 45 from other streams. Usha Titus, the Secretary of Higher Education in Thiruvananthapuram declared the 2017 rank list for admission to engineering courses and pharmacy degree courses in Govt. Pharmacy Colleges on June 20 (Tuesday).

KEAM Rank List & Seat Allotment:
The KEAM Rank list for undergrad engineering courses is equal to  the score obtained in the Engineering Entrance Examination (Paper I and Paper II put together) and grades of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Biotechnology/ Biology in the final year of the qualifying examination (+2). The Architecture rank list is to be prepared as the marks obtained in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). The total number of seats for engineering courses available in Kerala is 54,604. Various engineering courses are offered by 159 colleges. Of these colleges, 9 are government-run colleges, 115 are private colleges and the rest are university-controlled/govt-aided institutions. The First Seat allotment around will be conducted on June 30, 2017 (Friday) for 33,000 seats. Check out the list of all the Engineering and Pharmacy colleges here.

Registration Option
The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) began the registration option for the Kerala Engineering, Architecture and Medical Courses (KEAM) entrance examination 2017 on June 23, Friday. Those students who have passed the counselling can apply for the option registration from the official website.

The first phase allotment based on these options will be published on July 30, according to Manorama.

·  Visit the official site: www.cee-kerala.org
·  Look for KEAM 2017 Firs Phase Option Registration. Click on ‘View Details’.
·  Search for ‘Login to the Candidate Portal for Option Registration’ Click on the same
·  Select KEAM 2017 Candidate Portal and log in to the same for registration process.
 
 
Centralized Allotment Process (CAP)
The Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) to Professional Degree Courses for the year 2017-18 commenced from 23.06.2017 (Friday). During this process, online options are invited to Engineering, Architecture and Pharmacy courses only. The Medical & Allied courses will be included in the Centralised Allotment Process in due course.

Those students included in the rank lists for Kerala Engineering/Architecture/Pharmacy courses – 2017 can register their options on www.cee.kerala.gov.in from 23.06.2017 to 28.06.2017, 5 pm. Any student who fails to register their options within the given period of time will not be considered for allotment under any circumstances. As per the official word, the Facilitation Centres [FC] having internet facility, will be working throughout the State during this period for providing necessary help to the candidates for registration of options.

First Allotment and Admission Fees:
Option registration facility is available till June 28, 2027 (Wednesday) till 5 pm. On June 30 (Friday), the process of first allotment of seats will be undertaken. The students who receive allotment shall have to pay the fee shown in the allotment memo at selected branches of State Bank of India (SBI) or by way of online payment. They need not join the colleges after the first allotment. And those who fail to pay the fee on or before the date prescribed for the same will lose their allotment as well as all the existing options in the stream to which the allotment belongs. The options once lost will not be available in the subsequent phases.  The schedule for further allotments will be declared in due course. The Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical is an entrance examination for admissions to various professional degree courses in the state of Kerala, India. It is administered by the Office of the Commissioner of Entrance Exams (CEE) under the direct orders of the Government of Kerala.
