The commission has published the roll number of the candidates who have qualified in the written exams. Those who have cleared the exam will have to appear for the intelligence and personality test (interview round) conducted by the Service Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence.
Reportedly, about 390 posts will be filled through this exam - 335 for the NDA (208 for the Indian Army, 72 for the Indian Air Force, 55 for the Indian Navy) and 55 posts for the INA.
Admission to these courses will be made on the basis of results of the written examination, and intelligence and personality test. Candidates shortlisted after the interviews will gain admission to army, navy and air force wings of the NDA for the 140th course and for the 102nd Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from July 2, 2018.
UPSC NDA results 2017
Candidates who have appeared for the written test for NDA and NA examination II, 2017 can check their results at the official website of the UPSC. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to:

The interview round
In accordance with the conditions of their admission to the examination, candidates are requested to register themselves online on the Indian Army recruiting website joinindianarmy.nic.in within two weeks of announcement of the written result. The successful candidates will then be allotted selection centres and dates of SSB interview.
The details will also be communicated to the candidate on registered e-mail id. However, candidate who has already registered earlier on the site will not be required to do so.
Candidates are also requested to submit original certificates of age and educational qualification to respective SSBs during the interview. The candidates must not send the original certificates to the UPSC.

UPSC NDA final results
The mark-sheets of the candidates will be uploaded on the commission’s website within 15 days from the date of publication of the final result after concluding SSB Interviews. The results will remain available on the website for a period of thirty (30) days.
