AAP leads in 4 seats, Cong 3 in Punjab

Jaitley is trailing behind Amarinder by 1846 votes in Amritsar seat

New entrant Aam Aadmi Party is leading in four seats, while Congress was leading in three as per initial trends of all 13 Lok Sabha seats of Punjab, where BJP's Arun Jaitley was trailing behind Congress' Amarinder Singh in Amrtisar.

AAP candidates are leading in Faridkot (r), Fatehgarh Sahib (r), Patiala and Sangrur Lok Sabha seats, as per an election office spokesman here.

Jaitley is trailing behind Amarinder by 1846 votes in Amritsar seat.

While SAD candidates are leading in four seas - Ferozepur, Anandpur Sahib, Khadoor Sahib and Bathinda seats its ally BJP contestants are leading in Gurdaspur and Hoshiarpur seats.

Congress is leading in three seats - Amritsar, Jalandhar(r) and Ludhiana.

Sitting MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal, daughter-in-law of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal is leading over her relative Manpreet Singh Badal by 42 votes from Bathinda seat.

AAP's Sadhu Singh is leading over SAD's Paramjeet Kaur Gulshan from Faridkot (r) seat, while AAP's Harjinder Singh Khalsa is ahead of Congress Sadhu Singh from Fatehgarh Sahib (r) seat by 1941 votes.

Besides, AAP's Dharamvira Gandhi is leading by 554 votes over Congress Preneet Kaur by 554 votes from Patiala.

Another AAP candidate Bhagant Mann is leading over SAD's Sukhdev Singh Dindsa by 1652 votes from Sangrur.

BJP's Vinod Khanna is leading over Congress Partap Sngh Bajwa by 7327 votes from Gurdaspur whereas BJP's Vijay Sampla is ahead of Congress Mohinde Singh Kaypee by 1685 votes from Hoshiarpur (r) seat.

SAD's Prem Singh Chandmajra is leading over Congress Ambika Soni by 4932 votes from Anandpur Sahib seat.

Another SAD contestant Sher Singh Ghubaya is ahead of Sunil Jakhar by 1662 votes from Ferozepur seat.

Ranjeet Singh Brahampura of SAD is leading over H S Gill of Congress by 737 votes from Khadoor Sahib seat.

Congress Ravneet Singh Bittu is leading over SAD's Manpreet Singh by 388 seats from Ludhiana and another Congress contestant Satokh Singh Choudhary is leading over Pawan Kumar Teenu of SAD from Jalandhar (r).
