Former Janata Dal United Minister Parveen Amanullah featured in the Aam Aadmi Party's eighth list of Lok Sabha candidates today. Amanullah will contest from Patna Sahib against Bhartiya Janata Party's candidate and filmstar Shatrughan Sinha.
Amanullah had resigned from Nitish Kumar's cabinet and also quit the JDU party to join AAP in February. Wife of senior IAS officer Afzal Amanullah, she won from the Sahebpur Kamal constituency in Bihar in the 2010 assembly elections.
The list included 19 names and with this, the total number of candidates declared so far by AAP is 287.
