LS polls: Khurshid, nine others served notice over expenses

They have been given 48 hours to reply and give their clarifications

District Election Officer has served notices to 10 candidates including Union Minister Salman Khurshid for not keeping record of election expenses, official sources said today.

DEO Pawan Kumar served notices to Congress candidate Khurshid, BSP candidate Jaiveer Singh, SP's Rameshwar Singh Yadav and seven other candidates, yesterday.

In the notice, it says that the candidates had not kept their poll expense records upto the mark and did not maintain their bank records properly.

They have been given 48 hours to reply and give their clarifications.
