Altogether 65.5 per cent voters exercised their franchise today during repoll in seven polling booths of Karimganj and Silchar Lok Sabha seats in Assam's Barak Valley, election office sources said.

Silchar recorded 66 per cent and Karimganj 65 per cent polling at the close of voting at 5 PM, the sources said.

The EC had ordered for repoll in these polling stations due to EVM malfunctioning on April 12 during the second phase of Lok Sabha polling in the state, the sources added.
