Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and senior BJP candidate Sushma Swaraj today filed her nomination papers from the Vidisha parliamentary constituency in Madhya Pradesh.
She filed her nomination papers in the office of the district returning officer of Raisen.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was also present on this occasion.
Sushma, who is the sitting MP from the constituency, will face Congress leader Digvijay Singh's brother Lakshman Singh, who is the Congress's candidate from the constituency.
She has won by a huge margin of over three lakh votes in 2009.
