Uma Bharti's chopper by ' mistake' lands in Shivpuri

A helicopter carrying BJP vice president Uma Bharti today landed in Shivpuri town in Madhya Pradesh, triggering panic among people.

Chief Electoral Officer Jaideep Govind said Bharti's chopper landed by "mistake" and everything is normal.

Bharti is contesting from Jhansi Lok Sabha seat in Uttar Pradesh, bordering Shivpuri.

"The chopper carrying Bharti immediately left the place after making the landing," the CEO said.

According to some reports, the chopper landed in Shivpuri "due to bad weather".
