Exim Bank appoints Ravneet Kaur as interim CMD

Exim Bank, today said it has appointed Ravneet Kaur, a finance ministry official, as the bank's interim chairman and managing director (CMD).
This follows the superannuation of TC Venkat Subramanian, chairman and managing director (CMD) of the Export-Import Bank of India, on October 31, 2009, the bank said in a press release.
"Until a successor to T C Venkat Subramanian is appointed by the government of India, Ravneet Kaur, joint secretary (IF), department of financial services, Ministry of Finance, has taken additional charge as CMD of the Bank," Exim Bank said in the release.
Kaur is currently joint secretary under the department of financial services in the Ministry of Finance.
Venkat Subramanian served as the chief executive of the bank for two terms of office and for over eight years.
