Foreign exchange reserves decreased $223.9 million to $290 billion in the week ended March 8. The decrease was on account of fall in foreign currency assets which fell $225.5 million to $257 billion. SDR from IMF increased $1.1 million to $4.3 billion and the reserve position at IMF increased $0.5 million to $2.3 billion.
