HDFC Bank Q3 net up 45% at Rs 622 cr

HDFC Bank today reported 44.8% rise in Q3 net profit for the quarter ended December 31, 2008 at Rs 621.74 crore when compared with Rs 429.36 crore reported in the corresponding quarter a year ago.

According to a release issued by the bank to the BSE today, Q3FY09 total income rose 58.8% to Rs 5,407.89 crore from Rs 3,405.79 crore in Q3FY08.

The bank's other income grew 38.4% at Rs 939.39 crore as against Rs 678.89 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2007.
