HDFC's paid-up capital rises to Rs 299 cr

The company alloted 5,000 shares to its Vice Chairman Keki Mistry

Mortgage firm HDFC Ltd today said its paid-up capital has increased to Rs 298.71 crore with allotment of additional shares.

The company has allotted 2.28 lakh shares to certain employees and director of the company pursuant to exercise of stock options by them, HDFC Ltd said in a BSE filing.

Total shares of the company rose to 149.35 crore from 148.66 crore at the end of June 30, 2012. Accordingly, the paid up capital of the company stands increased, it said.

The company allotted 5,000 shares to its Vice Chairman Keki Mistry.
